Hey, I'm Amelia!
I'm a 20 year old storm chaser who's been in love with the weather as long as I can remember. Every time a storm was approaching my hometown, I always wanted to be outside to watch it come in.
I spent hours and hours watching Reed Timmer, Sean Casey, and Tim Samaras (R.I.P.) on Storm Chasers, and I had a TornadoVideos.net shirt that I loved to wear.
Now, I'm getting to be a storm chaser just like the men I watched on TV when I was little, and I'm excited to show that trans women and queer people have a place in storm chasing and in meteorology!
When I'm not chasing storms or auroras, I'm usually working on one of my many coding projects, hanging out with my friends, or playing a video game with my best friend Hyacinthe. I'm currently playing Persona 3 Reload, Hyacinthe's favorite game.
I take a lot of photos while chasing and even at home, but I won't be hosting them here due to size limitations. I'm still looking for a home for all my photos.
